Waterfalls
When you lower the land near a river, a waterfall automatically forms.
If you create a river on top of a mountain, the moment you carve out the edge, the river will become a waterfall and flow to the bottom.
The wider the waterfall, the more impressive its display.
Waterfalls are your chance to show off your artistry.
They have a big impact on the beauty of your world!
Mountains
If you create tall, triangle-shaped lands, you can create hills and mountain ranges.
If altering the terrain one level at a time feels like too much work, use a Mountain Source item.
A large mountain will be instantly created.
When mountains get high enough, snow can appear at their peaks.
Tall terrain will reduce the cube's overall temperature.
Seas
When land is lowered into the negatives, that area becomes a sea
(you can create a sea without a river.)
The organisms that emerge will vary depending on the depth.
Sea creatures must evolve to create land creatures, so the sea is very important.
Lowering the land to make the sea deeper will increase the cube's overall temperature,
and raising the sea floor to create shallow waters will cool it off.
Adjust the depth of the sea to affect which organisms are birthed.
Plains
So you've been flying around, raising and lowering land here and there.
"Ah, that was fun," you think... But then you realize, your cube is too lumpy and your creatures are cramped.
At that point, you can easily smooth out the terrain.
Just widen the cursor to affect more terrain, then raise and lower it.
By doing this, you can create nice, flat plots of land.
Hills
So you're controlling your avatar, flying to and fro, raising and lowering
the land here and there.
If you raise the land as you're flying, the land will rise ever so slightly.
You can play around with this to write words or even draw pictures!
Rivers
When you use the River Source item, you can create a spring on the surface.
And when you lower the land next to it by one... a river appears!
By lowering the land around the river, you can make as wide or long as you please!
Unlike the sea, you can create rivers no matter how tall the land is.
If you want to add some green to a mountain, try adding a river to it.
Spires
By raising a small portion of the land, you can create spire-like structures.
It's a very striking element that's visible from far away, like an accent for your cube.
Tactically, it's very useful because it allows you to reduce the temperature
without messing with the rest of your sea and land.
On wider terrain, it's harder to reduce the temperature with a thin spire, so try creating a thicker one instead.
